DGCA 250 rule

Recently the Indonesian DGCA announced a new rule regarding the hiring of foreigners by Indonesian Airlines. All foreigners need a minimum of 250 hours on the type they are being hired to fly before a Indonesian license can be issued. This only applies to Part 121 operators and NOT Part 135.
Indonesian DGCA should be alert! It has never been too late in the world of aviation, but certainly if they keep on doing this they will boost another hazard to their own aviation industry.
Just putting in restriction to foreign pilot flying hours as a mandatory qualification will not solve the problems. The rules should be relaxed and perhaps changed to 250 hours min of flying in Indonesia not 250 hours on type.
ACT NOW!!! ACT PROPERLY!!!We need to gather as manysignaturesas we can and make our voices heard!
