Governor Paterson is still ignoring the thousands of lives he is planning to ruin with these senseless budget cuts. I have spent the week demanding answers from his office and they continue to treat our children like a line item that can be erased.

really hope they reconsider this. keeping kids busy and learning is better than letting them roam around with no supervision.
This is ridiculous. Stop taking away from the kids. They need these programs more than ever!!!
keep funding after school!!
My son learned so much from the after school club. If they shut it down kids will have nothing to do but get in trouble on the streets.
These programs are the only safe place for my kids to go after school. Where are they supposed to go if this gets cut? It makes no sense.

2500 jobs gone is not fixing the budget it is just making more people unemployed. awful idea.
