I don't want more traffic in my neighborhood around my children.

We already have enough traffic. Are you kidding me!?!

No apartments! Why is the library not a good idea now? Just wasting tax dollars ....still!

I think this is a very bad idea for this neighborhood. We have pleanty of apartments and duplexes around. We really have too much traffic flow as it is and very hard to get out on to blackbob from Indian Creek. Grocery stores have a hard time as it is since Hyvee moved to 151st. What is wrong with undeveloped land? Really miss the library and kids are missing out there was several that went there after school. Believe it or not but not all family's have a computer at home so it was a great place for them to walk to after school.

There is enough commercial development at 119th and Blackbob and 135th and Blackbob, don't need any more of that. Traffic is already difficult. Has anyone done a watershed study? The creek is already outside its banks every time there is a significant rain. More development is not going to help that. Please make it soccer fields that will continue to absorb rain water and that current residents can enjoy. It isn't as if the apartment complexes already in the neighborhood are at capacity. New developments are just going to cannibalize their customers, creating more vacancies in the older units.

Apartments in that location would cause a serious traffic problem for those of us living on and around Indian Creek Parkway. Traffic during school drop off and pick up for both the elementary school and Olathe East High School is already a problem. My driveway is on Indian Creek Parkway and it is very hard to get out of the driveway during peak times of the day. Unfortunately, people already speed and whip around the winding curves like they are on a drag strip. Adding a ton of traffic to an area that can't support a stop light and already has traffic problems is going to be a complete nightmare for those of us trying to back out of our driveway into said traffic. I have young teenage drivers that will have an even bigger problem backing out due to being less experienced.

The proposed development is not what's best for this part of town. The traffic issues alone should be a suitable reason not to put any additional dwellings in the property. It would be much better used as an expansion to the existing park, adding badly needed soccer and baseball fields for Olathe's sports programs.

There is a development near this site called Blackbob Court townhomes.... It NEEDS to have a light! There are way to many close calls and is already a struggle to get in and out of the community to those who live there. There is way to much traffic in just a short area of road thatvadding to it would be a nightmare. Surely a little strip business storefront type building would make more sense or heck why not just tear it down and put grass and trees there and make it a little park for the residents that live in the townhouses there at Blackbob and 127th? Grass and trees never hurt anyone just makes our air cleaner!

I have so many ideas. Some are simple like take down traffic lights and eliminate the post office. The bigger ones will be tougher, like "bring this crumbling to the ground."

Please no more apartment complexes, feels like we're already saturated in this area. It will incentivize me to look at moving elsewhere.

Please take into consideration the neighborhoods opinion. This is not a well thought out plan or a suitable place for apartments.

Absolutely not! That area is not suited for the type of traffic that would create if apartment building went in!

NO! Apartments on this land are going to be built too close to the property line of single family residences, which will violate their rights to enjoy their property and have privacy on their backyards. Also the apartments will produce to much noise as going to be build so close.

There are plenty of apartments in the area. Let's do something else with the space

Say NO to REZONING!

I am a homeowner about less than 2 blocks from this proposed site and STRONGLY APPOSE this complex and the rezoning! This area has kids walking to Indian Creek Elem, Pioneer Trail Middle School and Olathe East HS - ALL with kids walking down Indian Creek Parkway/Blackbob every morning and afternoon when traffic is already at its worse! 375-100 apartments will add to this congested intersection that is uncontrolled by a traffic signal and make it a nightmare for the residents that live there. Traffic is only the beginning to the issues this development will bring. How many apartment complexes does Johnson County/Olathe/Overland Park really need? They are on every corner now! Do a zoom out of Goggle earth and compare to the Elem. School Map - we have 8 apartment complexes already feeding into this school from about a square mile around us! You can't tell me the area needs more apartments!
