Develop Historic Broadway NOT wastefully widen the roadway

I don't understand why money is spent on project the goal of which is to move traffic faster. What will drivers do with the minutes they save by getting across town faster?

Especially agree with moving bike lanes off Broadway into neighborhoods. Much safer. And prefer historical preservation of buildings and light rail.

Dear Sir or Miss, Please do NOT follow through with the proposed idea. We do not need to widen Broadway, at least the way it has currently been proposed. Thank you, Alberto Arenas

there is a better way to do this........dont be looking back at another mistake....consider the alternatives on the plate.

The transition will be difficult at times (aka - bad traffic). But we must draw a line and move investment into the City we want tomorrow, not the one we had yesterday.

This project is unnecessary, wasteful, I'll-advised - a step backward. Tucsonans deserve better. Let's take the bold step to preserve and protect our historic buildings, revitalize our communities, and promote the unique features of Tucson. No more destruction, please!

Stop focusing on one mode of transportation

More destruction of Tucson history and culture.

This is not improvement that is necessary, in fact, it is without merit. Before you spend money on a negligible improvement in traffic, just fix potholes, please!!! My car needs to be checked and tightened all the time and lights replaced, just because the toads are so rough and we need better side streets. Avoiding the awful streets would make savings better than the currents trip to the shop. A prime example is the "Hawk crossing" at Treat, which is then checked next, only to find we are all the same as far!

Please consider the options. Save Tucson from the gradual 'chipping' of the matrix that makes our city sooo special. THANKS

This is a terrible waste of money and a useless destruction of our neighborhood and businesses that would lead to no gains in traffic flow.

Too disruptive and an absolutely wasteful project. Completely not necessary Too much expenditure for such a minor improvement, if at all. Absolutely ridiculous proposal!

We can not build enough road out of traffic congestion, it only increases the problem. Quit exasperating congestion and polution and invest in alternative transportation solutions.

Broadway never has any major traffic, the only bottleneck is at Congress & 4th Ave.

This crazy outmoded scheme benefits NOBODY and destroys HISTORY! We love Broadway's old adobe buildings and they are worth FAR MORE than any so-called 'improvements'. Time for the City to BACK THE HELL OFF and get educated on what people REALLY want!! Cuz the City is IGNORING US!!

Revitalize historic places leading into downtown!

The dysfunction and blight you see between Country Club and Euclid hasn’t happened in a vacuum. It is related to an obscene level of uncertainty that began with early design in 1989. Widening doesn’t fix that. It perpetuates it. Look at other arterials in Tucson. They are lined with unlivable residences and non-conforming commercial sites. We don’t deal with it.

In this deal Tucson spent over 2 million dollars on an intentionally weakened CTF public process spanning over 3 years. CTF members weren’t paid a dime. I question why self respecting citizens continue to fall for this. The entire CTF design process needs to be re-done. Our CTF team doesn’t like the outcome and neither do the thousands of residents along the sunshine mile, which is actually 2 miles.
