This is 2016. Wide streets from yesteryear have proven to be mistakes -- destructive of neighborhoods and businesses, pollutive, dangerous and discouraging of pedestrain and bicycle uses, and not helpful for traffic flow, their supposed purpose. We need a right-sized (no wider than now) Broadway with sidewalks and beautificaiton measures.

We're not Phoenix. Save our old building and neighborhoods. Community IS everything, don't destroy it.

We need streets designed for people and the community at large, not just cars. We all benefit when people feel a connection to their surrounding community. Plus, traffic has not increased on Broadway. We need to face reality, engage with current, available urban design research, and update this plan.

To widen streets and knock down historical buildings is stupid!!! Use some of that money and repave our streets-The street I live on is nothing buy numerous patches and repatches. Broadway is fine--let people take alternate routes!!!

Tucson deserves a more sustainable, lest costly alternative to a river of cars on Broadway. PLEASE do not widen Broadway and destroy yet more of what makes Tucson unique and attractive to residents. We need walkways, bikeways, local businesses and livable neighborhoods.

No widening, please. Just fix out streets!

Please do not recklessly just bulldoze historical buildings to build a speedway to downtown. We are still lamenting all the charm and history that was lost when the barrios were destroyed to build the Community Center. . Take time to preserve what the "Old Pueblo" heritage was and should still be..Think it through ..what are we giving up for what we will get? This time get it right.

Expansion is a 1960s solution to a non-existent traffic problem. Kill the 30% design and investment will begin. Follow with thoughtful designs appropriate to Tucson in 2016.

Broadway could be a vibrant corridor if made more bike, pedestrian, and mass transit friendly.

Tucson doesn't need another terrible infrastructure project to further deaden the urban landscape.

I drive that strip and there isn't enough traffic to need widening. A turn arrow at tucson Blvd would make more sense.

Share the road! Make Broadway safe for pedestrians, bikers, bus riders, and cars.

This widening would tear down my house. We should be improving Broadway and not widening it.

This is a foolish project and should be halted.

I have never seen such disrespect for those of us living in the neighborhoods surrounding this part of Broadway. Please follow the mandate of the People.
