Enough of destroying our history and sense of place in Tucson. We need revitalization in our community.

I don't understand why we want to widen this road. It leads to narrower downtown roads. Let's make this a pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly zone. Lots of UA students live in the area. Let's think about them.

Broadway does not need to be widened. Listen to Tucsonans who live and drive in this area everyday! Enough years, hours, dollars have been wasted already on the Broadway project. Sometimes being wise means knowing when to walk away. Reallocate the $75 million for completing the repaving of Grant (which is only half done) and/or the shameful pot-hole backlog, which costs drivers like me out of pocket every year in additional maintence and tires.

Please reconsider this plan. It is too expensive, destroys historic buildings and does not significantly improve the traffic.

Every time a street is widened, it just fills up again with traffic, defeating the purpose of widening it. It's futile to widen streets and destroy urban plant and businesses so traffic can pass by! Keep what's left of Tucson -- don't californicate this paradise!

If we are going to re-do the roads make them sustainable - so they direct water into our ground water not send it out of the city.

NO!!! Do not spend any money on new projects until existing roads are improved. Such as Tucson Bl. from Ft. Lowell to Grant and Country Club Prince to Pima. DO IT NOW!!!

So depressing that yet more of historic Tucson is threatened for no good reason. Too much has been lost already.

Tucson's real character is in its historic buildings. We shouldn't tear them down and replace them with more pavement. them down

This project is so unnecessary and contrary to any responsible transportation policy in 2016. Stop it, save money.

The focus of ALL transportation planning must be to transition away from automobiles to mass transit, cycling, and walking. These are the only measures that merit public funding as we adapt to a low-carbon future Tucson.

Forgive my cynicism, but the only ones I see benefiting from this boondoggle of a plan are the planners, developers and the politicians in their pockets. Show some integrity and listen to your constituents and stop this futile madness.

I wish they'd take this $74M and complete the Aviation Corridor that's been planned for decades!!! That would help alleviate a good part of the congestion thru downtown... which is much worse than the proposed construction area east of downtown!
