For this I pay an ever-increasing sales tax? I don’t want to see the historic buildings that give Broadway its unique atmosphere scattered to the four winds. Note that the presence of multiple lanes on Oracle (which, as others have noted, is more congested than Broadway) don’t do a great deal to lessen traffic. Listen to the citizens.

Tucsonans, especially Mayor & Council, seem to have o concept of what traffic actually is! Take a trip to LA at rush hour & you'll understand why we do not need this expensive & unnecessary project!

What happened to the Rio Nuevo project money, taxpayer money? We do not need any more projects like this using tax dollars and not knowing who's pocket our money is going in and not to the project it was meant for!

The traffic studies done for this 30% design are outdated. The world is changing and these plans should be changed to reflect more bike and public transportation usage. Don't allow the destruction of buildings with flavor.

Widening Broadway will not help traffic, it will create more vehicle driven congestion. I live just south of Broadway and I oppose the widening of Broadway.

I see no good reason to widen Broadway and I drive through that area quite a bit. Let's not do this just because it seemed like a good idea a number of years ago (just like, um, destroying neighborhoods for convention center seemed like a good idea). Keep Tucson Tucson!
