All political parties in Maldives have policies that curry favor with the rich instead of genuinely siding with the poor and working class. Nepotism is a natural conclusion. We should not be allowing any of the existing political parties to join. MDP has a history of both police brutality and sweeping gross violence against women concerns levied at its members and leaders under the rug. No compromise. Keep this movement away from partisan support.
MDP oughtu explain and apologize for Ali Waheed case, safari case, and the police crack downs during ibu regime, before a redemption arc is even considered.
