Two of our boys ride their bikes to NKMS every morning at 740. It is bad enough that even at that time streets are already full of construction vehicles, landscapers etc. PLEASE consider the safety of the children and families in Harwood Hills BEFORE the convenience of the builders. It is not the fault of the neighborhood residents that workers have long drives and don't want to sit in traffic. Thank you!

I oppose changing the construction time to 7am. Please consider the safety of the children that walk/bike to school daily. The constant construction, noise, additional trucks, blocked streets, and construction workers that do not obey the speed limit are ALL difficult enough to deal with on a daily basis. Moving the start time up an hour to 7am will only make the problems worse.

I oppose changing the start time to earlier. 8 am start time for construction to begin is reasonable. It is a matter of keeping Des Peres residents safe (children on bikes going to school) and residents able to live in some sort of quality quiet until a reasonable time. Many of us feel like we are living in a constant construction zone. Please honor our request to keep the start time as -is. The residents loudly opposed the change at the meeting.

I oppose the start time moving to an earlier time. It is concerning enough trying to get kids to school without sidewalks, much less cement trucks and construction vehicles.

Please consider the safety of all of your residents, who you are charged with representing, and vote NO to changing the ordinance, and not the specific profitability targets of businesses who have chosen to operate in our city. Keep Des Peres a Family-focused community

We are opposed to moving the start time for construction to 7:00 AM. The additional traffic in addition to workers do not obey the posted speed limit creates a safety hazard for pedestrian children.

We oppose the change of construction time to 7 am. We think children are safer if it remains at 8 am.

I strongly oppose changing the start time. Children safety should be the first priority. Neighboring Frontenac has an 8am start as well.
