Skateboard park would be an amazing opportunity for the young people to use to further their skateboarding skills. As a mother of 3 young boys we would be willing to travel the 10/15 miles needed to uses such facilities.

A skatepark in Derry is needed for them to go instead of having to use unused/unsafe areas not designed for skateboarders.

I have two young ones, who are tyrelessly watching skate videos online, dreaming on using a skate park.
Also they have searched the town for pedestrian free, smooth surfaces to safely skate, simply doesn't exist.

I have two Young children that love watching skaters doing tricks,this would be a great To have a skatepark so they could go and watch and maybe Learn skills from Actual skaters and to know that it’s in a contained safe environment would be all better

This long over due, Strabane needs one too. I'm currently working in England where there is a skatepark in every village in constant use. This would create a great incentive for kids. How many skateboards go to waste because the kids don't have the facilties to use them

I have been Skateboarding for almost 20 years, I know countless people who's lives would've went a different direction if they had've had somewhere to go to, where they could do what they are passionate about. There is a great sense of community at skateparks, people of all ages and skill levels can motivate and encourage eachother.
