Council always shouting about getting kids active, these children want to be active don’t see why they don’t build a skatepark use the space next to McDonald’s on strand road.

The skate boarders bring joy and life to this city. Let’s look after them and provide them with safe and accessible facilities.

There is a mental health pandemic amongst Derry’s teenagers. Exercise through skating would help give teenagers a chance to exercise, thus helping their mental health and helping them avoid the temptation Of drug use etc.

Gives the skateboarders a vigorous workout as well as the enjoyment they get. Or would we rather they were sat at a keyboard all day? Give them the safe space they deserve.

Derry, a city which celebrates subcultures and what might called 'bohemian' interests, has massive demand for a skate park. It is a total no-brainer that funding a skate park would be good for our youth and for our city.
