Since Rosie's has moved Derry needs an open place for skate lovers to go, saves them being labelled as 'loitering' too. Give them a space!

Let the young one's have their park. Better they are outside in the fresh air rather than stuck indoors glued to social media or game consoles.

should have been one built years ago, young peeopke need a place they feel safe, are not judged and can enjoy themselves without feeling on edge and a being made feel like louts or a hindrance

This would be amazing to have a skate park in Derry. The skate park in Belfast is used everyday and brings people from both sides of the community together.

It's a no brainer. An action sports facility in Derry would provide an alternative Avenue to get fit and active, set and achieve goals, make friends, learn a new skill. These venues are suitable for 4 to 40yrs+ and require minimal maintenance. I'm happy to help support this project with vital industry knowledge and information. [email protected]

Skate park would be a brilliant structure for young people, it works as a deterrent for anti social behaviour and builds inclusion for all in our city.
