Derry needs a skate park as there is no where for people who have skateparks to go and its not very fair on them. A skatepark is well needed in this town

The nearest thing for bikers and outdoor enthusiasts is garvagh forest a full 40mins away in the middle of nowhere. Sign this petition to bring projects like this closer to where the need is and where the people there to ride it!

Build a pump track too
These are becoming the number one thing to ride, being flowy, and intuitive to ride. There got to be the funding for projects like these considering its for the betterment of the younger generation

It's ridiculous that a regional capital like Derry makes no provision for skateboarding, whilst lots of other smaller towns and cities on the island do. Derry needs to cater for all sports and interests - not just football or gaelic.

Please provide this space for skaters to come together to safely learn and practise. A park will also promote collaboration and community and provide a platform to showcase this sport.
