The use of cellphones, cameras and even tablets to record Depeche Mode during concerts (as witnessed most recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live) has reached epidemic proportions. This disruptive activity forces unfortunate fans to watch many songs (and in frequent cases entire shows) through a sea of miniature LED screens. Depeche fans and loyalists who have signed this petition contend that this practice is a massive distraction to countless concert goers who have gone to great lengths and expense to see Depeche Mode live. We ask that the activity of videotaping and photographing of DM during concerts be limited in some fashion by the band and or it's management to improve everyone's experience of witnessing Depeche Mode in all their unobstructed glory.
