Deny USG the right to use student funds to pay Executive board member's salaries.
Student organizations aren't getting the funding they need, and yet USG leadership is planning on paying themselves with the fees that you pay. They can't do this without your vote, and I believe that every one of you knows that this isn't right. By signing this petition you support the campaign against this increasingly defunct organization. and when the time comes, will vote against the legislation that will make this possible.

I met with members of the student senate this morning to demand a ledger review of the proposed payroll legislation. We are currently drafting a formal objection to be presented at the next budget committee hearing. Expect a report on how they intend to justify these internal payments by the end of the week.

The volume of support has reached a level where the USG can no longer ignore this opposition. I am now coordinating with representatives to ensure these signatures are formally presented during the upcoming budget review session.

I came here to get an education not to fund someone elses lifestyle choices. Fix the budget for the actual students before you start paying yourselves.
are you kidding me?? i struggle to get clubs funded for basic supplies and these guys want a paycheck for sitting in meetings. big NO from me.
absolute greed. stop stealing our money.
This is ridiculous. My tuition is already way too high and they want to take more for their own pockets? Get real.
If money is the motivation student leaders need to better this campus, then I don't want such leaders in charge. USG executive members should not have to be "incentivized" for their efforts to benefit this campus. Their commitment should be a passion and not an incentive. Until Shabazz joins the Executive Board and poses claims of starvation, I will not support this bill of compensation with the money that comes from my mother's pocket to benefit a position that does not have an adequate reason for need of such compensation.

Being in USG is supposed to be volunteer work. If they want a paying job they should go get one off campus like the rest of us.
