We the undersigned urge you to contact president elect trump not to appoint Steve Bannon as the white house chief strategist. The president elect has said that he wants to be the president of all of the America.As a Jew, appointing Steve Bannon would be unrepresentative of us. Although the president elect is allowed to choose whoever he wants to advise him and help him follow through with his plans for our nation, Steve Bannon through his role as the CEO at Breitbart and chief strategist for president elect trump’s campaign Steve Bannon has put out many anti semitic, islamaphobic, racist, and misogynistic views. We believe his words and actions completely go against American values and should not be justified and encouraged by the American government. Not only is it dangerous to give power to a person with views like his, but also it encourages those who may agree with his words to be more open and act upon these terrible ideas. As jews we not only fear for ourselves because of his anti semitic rhetoric, but we also fear for our fellow citizens who may suffer from a man such as Bannon being put into a position of power. As a historically persecuted people we know the signs of racism and persecution and will not stand idly by and let it happen to us or others.We urge you not to allow Steve Bannon or anyone like him to take leadership in the whit house
