I live on Villa Place and understand that the buildings in question sit on valuable property. However the building that the developers are proposing has no charm or character that incorporates the feeling of this neighborhood. If they could be more creative in their approach, I would be less resistant to demolishing one one or more of the existing structures. What they are proposing is a building that could be built in any city anywhere and will probably be demolished after 25 years. It's only benefit now is that it will be new.

If we could had better public transportation, there would be no need for this.

When is it gonna stop? It is time for our city to have some integrity and preserve what makes it unique, not constantly building homogenous structures at the expense of maintaining an essence and history of our city.

The most productive use of land is not the best use. If that logic went through all the world would be factories and high rise residential-they always make the most. Nashville isn't hurting for growth, please value atmosphere and history more I this case-my votes and I do!

Destruction of unique urban fabric for a bit more lucrative density: when will Nashville fight back?

Serious thought needs to start going into zoning decisions and development plans in this area.

Please stop demolishing historic homes and buildings that are a part of Nashville's history. Modern architecture and more uneccessary aparments are not what Nashville needs nor is it what attracts people to Nashville. These new structures will never even come close to rivaling the beauty, craftsmanship or quality of the old, historic buildings. Please do not tear down anymore of Nashville's old charm and history!!
