The planning commission is slowly allowing developers to destroy that which had given Nashville its character. very sad.

when you start taking away too much of a city's history, you take away part of its soul. Don't rob Nashville of her soul!

As a person with a long family pedigree in the Nashville area (I'm related to General William Lee Davidson, among other prominent figures), I'm appalled at what in legal terms is referred to as the 'depraved indifference' our regional planners show toward its history. Nearly any proposal from a wealthy developer is unquestioningly approved, regardless of the impact on the immediate area or what buildings will be destroyed. The local news is filled with comments from concerned Nashvillians regarding what this is doing to the stock of affordable housing and to our quality of life. What's it going to take to get you all to listen? NO ON 16TH AVENUE APARTMENTS!!!!

The history that makes Nashville great should not be bulldozed for progress. Let's work together to find a solution for our growing populations.

I'm all for growth but I'm afraid we are just turning into another big city and losing our charm. We have to preserve what makes Music City special!

Doing this will take away the character of our charming city.

Preserve Nashville's history & the reason singers, songwriters & musicians flock to this area. Keep the music on Music Row, not spread out about the city. Please keep the charms of Nashville alive. There is plenty of space and property to put your fancy new condos & multi use buildings. If we lose what makes us unique, there won't be bodies to fill your fancy frilly new buildings. The charm & history are what continue to draw people here. Without it, we've lost our draw.

Do we want a unique city or not? That is the question.

I use to love national in the beauty of itI use to love national in the beauty of it. Since we moved I told people there's no place like Nashville I've always thought of Nashville is home and recognizable. But now every time I come back a little bit of it is changed the history and the uniqueness of it and I don't know if I really want to go back anymore because of all the changes and high rises
