Oppose Rezoning for 16th Ave Apts (2015SP-007-001)

Why does Nashville have to lose all it's charm and the thing that make sit interesting. I have seen people save homes here that should have been torn down why can't we keep thinking in that direction. This building has no appeal. Lets keep the traditions of nashville safe and restore these homes!

After my wife and I retired, we moved from Texas to Nashville, specifically because of the "yesteryear charm". I is so depressing to see the city rapidly changing to a "temporary urban" setting. The loss of character will lose more than history, as it will lose residents, such as us.

I'm sad to see more destructive building in the name of "progress".

I've worked on Music Row for nearly 10 years, and my daily commute is becoming more depressing all the time, as I watch the historic charm I (and many others) love so much get bulldozed for something "new & shiny." Music Row's character dwells in these buildings, and with each new structure, that character is being ruthlessly evicted.

We MUST stop tearing Nashville down!!

Nashville, I love you, but you're bringing me down.

Save Music Row. We don't need any more high rises. Enough is enough.

Nashville's charm and history, the reason so many decide to move here after a short visit is being torn down for something that could only be described as new. There is no life within the new walls intended to be built. No charm, no clues to what the city used to be and the people that were here before. What problem does this city have with its past that it so carelessly disregards its architecture? Historic homes can never be rebuilt. Stop the greed for a few more living spaces and allow the city to shine historically.

This is incredibly important, are we going to let greedy developers take every once of character left in this city? I don't think so.

More ugly, nondescript buildings trying to capture on the "It City" bubble that will be a functional eyesore when their value has long since disappeared. I oppose the rezoning and continued destruction of the character that made Nashville "Nashville."

History is part of Nashville's charm. When you do away with that, especially when it pertains to music, you sterilize our incredible city. People come here to see music row, where things happened, not to see a new condo. Please don't do this.
