This is a project that would affect the quiet and beauty of the little town of LaPorte. Although not a resident I am a frequent visitor. This area should not become industrial, I really feel this would adversely affect the residence in the surrounding area.

Health concerns presented during the town hall meeting warrant are a valid concern. It merits serious consideration. The Department of Health is a consulting agency. That may be another avenue to pursue to safeguard serious health concerns.

Laporte needs businesses that will vitalize the town, not turn it into an industrial crap-hole. Property values will go down; literally millions of dollars will be lost by homeowners while this one company makes a profit. This type of capitalism is getting awfully old. I went to the town meeting, and I saw firsthand how vehemently opposed every single Laporte resident is to this awful idea.
