Deny Loveland Ready Mix Proposed Pit, concrete Batch Plant, Concrete Crushing facility

Please, deny this proposal by Loveland Ready Mix. The health, welfare, safety and quality of life of our neighbors and our community will be harmed by this facility.

There are so many better places. Quit destroying the health and charm of Fort Collins country properties!

Please deny the proposal for this concrete operation. Local, sustainable agriculture needs to be protected and encouraged!

This will cause irreparable harm to the health and community of Laporte. Please move this.

Don't degrade the quality of this farm and the surrounding land with the proposed concrete facility! This is the wrong place for this type of facility.

LaPorte is growing and the last thing it needs is a noisy, ugly concrete plant at the front door of town.

I strongly oppose the proposed concrete plant at this location. It is essential to our community to promote sustainable local agriculture and so much work has been done to create and preserve this location for long term healthy food production.

This plant would have a huge, negative impact not only on the health and wellbeing of Laporte residents, but also on local food produced nearby. In particular, Native Hill Farm is a vegetable farm selling sustainable local food to Laporte and Fort Collins residents, and their entire community of food growers and eaters is jeopardized by this plan.

I am a very happy customer and supporter of Native Hill Farms. I am concerned that this proposal will negatively affect their successful business, and reduce the amount of remaining viable agricultural land in the local food area surrounding Fort Collins. I ask that you please consider negative impacts to local residents and existing business as you make this decision.

Please do not sacrifice the health of our community, local farms and food by allowing this development proposal to move forward.

Please do the right thing, protect our precious farmland!

Spoons Soups and Salads purchases organic produce from Native Hill Farm and we are very concerned the proposed Concrete Batch Plant will potentially contaminate the produce we will serve to Fort Collins Citizens.

As a citizen of Larimer county, I am very concerned about the Loveland Ready Mix proposed cement plant in Laporte. In addition to the plant reducing property values and decreasing the quality of life for citizens in the Laporte area, I am also concerned about my neighboring vegetable farm. As someone who supports the organic farm by purchasing and consuming their vegetables, I worry that the proposed plant will negatively impact the farm operation and the quality of the food grown on the organic farm. I not only support the farm for their commitment to environmental stewardship, but also for the clean, healthy, local produce that they are able to provide for me and my family. If the proposed plant were to be permitted, I fear that I will loose access to this wonderful community resource. Please do not allow Loveland Ready Mix to build a cement batch plant or crushing operation in Laporte. Laporte has been a rural community please keep it's historical significance and maintain positive tourism income coming to Larimer county. Please consider relocating this plant to a more appropriate city and urban area.

We spend a lot of time outside in this area and want to ensure that our air is clean! Please stop!!!

The site is not needed here/now, nor is it an enhancement to the area (the entrance to the city of La Porte; adjacent to neighborhoods; future commercial development; and a growing organic farming operation).
