Deny Loveland Ready Mix Proposed Pit, concrete Batch Plant, Concrete Crushing facility

We do want the traffic or noise in town. Or across from a great greenhouse.

We need clean farmland not more concrete plants!

This area has turned into one of the ugliest parts of town, with Lawson Construction, Seaworth's gravel pits, the disgusting Martin Marietta asphalt plant, etc. We do not need more. Our air, our water, our once natural beauty is being destroyed. Our roads are being impacted, the traffic is a mess with all the trucks. Enough!

For the health and well being of the community, please don't let this project happen.

Please protect the health and livelihoods of these citizens from the waste and pollution that such a nearby plant would bring.

Please do not bring concrete facility to Laporte CO

this will kill any new busiesses from choosing this area, and make those that have invested in the area less desireable. It is a bad idea environmently, socially, business wise, and property value wise.

The proposed Concrete Batch Plant location will adversely affect the citizens of the Laporte/Bellvue community. Alternate locations should be investigated that would be better suited for the operations proposed for the Laporte site.

If it threatens the welfare of our community, then it needs not to be done. Period.

We already have one plant close to us that is under scrutiny, we don't need another with trucks running in and out. roads will not hold up

I understand the need for gravel and a company to use resources they own, but to put a plant next door to an organic farm (with the farm down wind if I read the map correctly) is unacceptable. My family has eaten and enjoyed the exceptional produce of Native Hill Farm for many years. Please don't approve this use of this site.

The proposed pit and batch plant will have an extremely adverse effect on the community of Laporte, including farmers, residents and businesses. Say NO!

I see how similar industrial sites in Lyons and even a smaller one in Lafayette affect the environment surrounding the plants with the dust and pollutants created by processing of the materials. The noise and industrial lighting generated by the plant will affect the quality of life in the area. Lots of negative impacts to be placing a plant like this so close to suburban property. If you have an operation like this, it needs to be in a highly industrialized area, Not a mile from a school.

As a member of Native Hill Farm's CSA program, I oppose this project because of the negative impact it will have on their established business and the food they supply to the community. Native Hill is an asset to the community. They partner with local restaurants, participate in education programs, and support the food bank. The proposed expansion of Loveland Ready Mix will endanger Native Hill and the local food supply.

Please do not approve this industrial development proposal. The proposed plant/mine would have a huge negative impact on our community and way of life here in Laporte. It is, for me, primarily an issue of scale in that this plant would be so huge. I understand, too well, that this facility must be as large as planned in order for it to be profitable for the owners BUT their PROFITS will represent a vastly disproportionate LOSS to ALL the other residents and businesses in the area. The Loveland Ready Mix Corporation is NOT a human being who has basic human rights to the "Pursuit of Happiness", Safety, Security, Comfort and Peace in one's own home. The Corporation is only interested in its own profit and not the wellbeing of its neighbors. With the NEW gutting and dismantling of the EPA and the Clean Air and Water Acts by the current Federal administration this plant will, predictably, run roughshod over the people and small businesses of Laporte CO in the name of corporate progress and profit. Please do not allow this to happen to our town. Thank you for your attention.

The new Poudre Valley Community Farm cooperative in LaPorte will be a very unique step in northern Colorado towards sustainable local food, but only if it is not ruined by the approval of destructive nearby developments, like the PIT Batch and Crushing facility.

This is bad for our environment

Please consider the impacts on the neighbors, especially the economic impact on a thriving organic farm. We need to preserve agriculture in Colorado!

This is a danger, not a benefit for LaPorte and surrounding areas. The town of LaPorte has remained a safe community since the construction of the 287 By-Pass. The INTRUSION of the PIT Batch & Crushing facility is a threat to safety.
