This is a pristine area with old growth mangroves. This so called mitigation bank should be denied.

Beruff needs to leave Manatee County and take his Chinese drywall with him.

Is Beruff's plan a joke? Can the FDEP seriously be considering his mitigation proposal?

Absolutely not!

Beruff has put profit first and has shown a disregard for the environmental impact his projects have. This area is already overbuilt, and the fragile ecosystem cannot bear additional development.

THE MITIGATION BANK PERMIT WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT NEAR WHERE I LIVE. I BELIEVE THAT WE NEED TO TAKE AN INCREASED APPROACH TO PRESERVE OUR ENVIRONMENT.

When there are vast tracts of land inland that are open farmland or already cleared, and suitable for development, why do these greedy developers persist in targeting environmentally sensitive wetlands, mangroves, etc.? Is it more about money or about power?

I'm 19, please stop destroying Florida with greedy over-development. Save our environment and protect our wildlife so today's young people will still have a positive environment for us and our children..Too much has been destroyed already!

Stop over-development! Not every development has merit--especially when it destroys natural habitat and threatens our environment.

I oppose the Bar Point mitigation bank permit # ERP 338349. We must stop destroying our environment so a few people can make more profit. Development must be done in a smart, environmentally sound manner. Further development needs to benefit all, including our native wildlife and plants. Florida is a unique ecosystem that requires special attention. Once it is destroyed, it's too late.

I am asking that our wetlands and environmentally sensitive lands be preserved. We have to conserve these areas to protect the wildlife as well.

Yet another developer using 1984 Double Speak concepts to get around environmental laws. Issuing this permit should be a criminal offense and obviously doesn't abide by the Florida Constitution to protect our environment.
