This clearly discriminatory decision should definitely be changed.

As the rabbi of the Cape Cod Synagogue, a community that values ALL of its members, including LGBTQ, I am horrified at this discriminatory decision. I stand with the Dennis Union Church in favor of openness to all of God's creation and against baseless and irrational hatred.

The body of Christ means ALL. This vote is against everything the New England community is about.

Having lived in the area for years, I find it frightening and discrimitory that a vote was passed against it. This 2017, let's try to be open minded and welcoming of all.

The church should be allowed to promote their all inclusive diversity in whatever way they want. Shame on the committee. Village improvement is exactly what this is. Joe Hoffman

Glad to show my support. Makes me sick to my stomach that people are so openly discriminatory against their fellow residents.

Let the church deside what they want on their sign.

These guys are totally getting the puritanical shaft. This is not even about sign code. The sign codes here are all about size, materials of construction, and appearance, not what words are on the sign...... as long as the sign is not using offensive language. Apparently these folks feel that LBGTQ is offensive language?

Even Old Kings Highway approved this change!!!

Regardless of the reasons, A change of language should never be questioned especially when it's essential. Not in their purview.

This is just wrong. The change on the sign needs to be made to reflect the message the church wishes to relay. Stop discrimination on Cape Cod!

A total shame that we have to fight to post a sign saying we DONT discriminate against anyone

The simple, right and easy thing to do is to allow this change. This change harms no one and should have been applauded not denied. Shame on the 6 members who voted no.

I don't think that signage can make a difference, but it would be nice if stuffy church people wouldn't criticize other people
