I live on 85th Street South and hear gunfire from the school many nights of the week and at all hours. The school is a blight in our community and needs to be demolished for the safety and health of our neighborhood.

Please rid our peaceful community of this derelict eyesore. Replacing it with a park or community gardens, tying it to Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve would be nice and would increase property values throughout the area.

It is sad but also it is time to move forward. Tear Banks down and spend some effort on crime prevention and cleaning up South East Lake in general....do the job you were elected to do.

I live on the hill behind the school and am sick and tired of it sounding like a war zone around Banks, sometimes in the middle of the day. It's to the point me and my family are moving, it's become too dangerous to live in Roebuck. Something needs to be done ASAP before someone gets killed by a stray bullet.

We've lived here over 30 years. It is a shame that the whole area is going downhill so badly. This building needs to be taken down as soon as possible and something beneficial should take its place.

Please demolish Banks. It's two blocks from my home and I'm afraid for my children because of the gunfire.

This building is a danger to our community. There is profanity spray painted all over the exterior walls, and gunshots are occurring more and more frequently at this building. Please tear this down to help keep residents safe.

This is a dangerous building and a public hazard. It's become a place for bad people to go do things that terrorize the good citizens who have decided to "hang in there" with this neighborhood. The city of Birmingham needs to step up and support this neighborhood!
