We've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and its time to tear down this abandoned building. It is attracting crime elements to our area.

Please take this horrible building down. It is a dangerous eyesore. So much work is being done within the city limits to clean up these dangerous spaces. PLEASE don't forget about us. Our taxes contribute so much to the city of birmingham...Lets use some of that tax money over here before something truly tragic happens

As a Candidate for Birmingham City Council District 2, I would love to rehabilitate Banks high school for other uses, but it is past the point of rehabilitation. The Banks High School building needs to be demolished. Sign this petition and show our local government that it's past time to raze the building.

Clear, documented evidence has shown that this property is a hub for a illegal activity in our great community. It is beyond repair and must be torn down. This city-owned property is not being maintained and secured, and it must go before the problem exponentially worsens. The space could eventually be transformed into a significant asset to the community as a green space, but just demolishing it would fix many problems.

It's so far beyond rehabilitation that the only sensible thing to do is tear it down. It's a safety issue and a blight on our neighborhood.

The old Banks school has become a blight and liability for the city of Birmingham. Leveling the building and making it into useful green space would be a great idea, I think, but just about anything would be better than the dilapidated ruin it is now...

I am fed up with the gunfire and steady flow of undesirable traffic in my neighborhood. I am in a Historical district and the city seems to be taking care of everything else surrounding us and coming through here spraying chemicals instead of sending the manpower to keep our 6 Ft easement clean and or clear I've watched them cutting and cleaning in my surrounding drive out for the people that don't care enough to not throw they're trash out into the street
