I have enjoyed many rounds at Royal St Davids and the only blemish are the two atrocious landscapes on the horizon namely the hotel and Coleg Harlech buildinds. They should both be demolished and sooner rather than later.

I wish to add my support to this petition the two buildings in question have for too long been a blot on an otherwise spectacular backdrop.

I agree, these eyesores detract from the majestic castle and picturesque scenery of the area.

Does the current state of the buildings constitutes not only an eyesore, but also a risk to public health and safety? If so, is it possible there is a criminal case against the owners?

Has anyone told the VIP's at Cyngor Gwynedd, Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri and Y Cynulliad that tourist's visit Harlech a World Heritage Site, why can't these VIP's ensure that these tourist's return home and tell their friends that Harlech is a fabulous place.

Perhaps the council should Cease the land, demlish the building,, take the cost of demolition from the sale of the land and start reveloping with the sale profits going back into the public purse?

Enforcement of the hotel demolition order is long overdue and the improvement of the adjacent areas is in keeping with a World Heritage Site.

It is a very bad image of World Heritage site , how it has been allowed to go this long without something being done is beyond belief. Also I hope the students block is demolished as well.

A step at a time - get rid of the buildings first . That will make a huge improvement. Then sort out what can be done. The petition asks for too much at this difficult time.

There have been over 10 years of blight due to the vacancy and deterioration of these buildings and, as a World Heritage site, Harlech deserves an end to this.

Demolish hotel and accommodation block now. Then take the land into public ownership until owners pay costs or relinquish the assets if not paid within specified timescale.

About time those with power to act do so as Harlech has been in decline for long enough Let's return it to the World Heritage Site it's supposed to be

It needs to be sorted quick! It ruins the otherwise beautiful landscape, and makes the town look much less appealing to visitors and residents alike. Something useful a nod hopefully beautifull could be there in its place, that brings prosperity to the town, or for flats or something.

Have fond memories of the hotel in the late 60's & early 70's. such a shame it has not been demolished and redeveloped as a hotel for the 21st century
