Time for our National Park, Gwynedd Council and National Assembly to take drastic action to remove and replace this eyesore which is blighting Harlech and it is within a stones throw of the Castle and Royal St David's Golf Club.

As it's says in the statement these two buildings have been a blight on our town for 10 years. Something needs to be done the sooner the better

As a visitor to the area since 1965, the sad decline of the hotel has been a real blight on the landscape and something needs to be done to assist employment and encourage more visitors to the area. The castle has been successfully 'updated' - now the hotel needs the same, URGENTLY.

This petition has my full support. The delay in resolving this problem reflects poorly on the authorities whichhave the wherewithal to bring about change.

It's about time now it's an eyesore
We indeed could do with a good hotel here but my god they are taking their time
It's time to give a final warning

I was born in Harlech and have lived in the area all my life. I am ashamed of what I see on the St Davids hill now. Something must be done ASAP

The hotel was superb in its day but was sadly ruined even before its closure
Lets hope that its replacement will bring the area into the twenty first century and provide much needed employment

Harlech and area needs a hotel and accommodation. This development would bring much needed work to the area. We the residents of Harlech have endeavoured this eyesore long enough.

The St. David's Hotel used to be a real focal point for the community and a delightful Hotel with spectacular views........look at it now..... A hovel and a danger to the local people not to mention a dreadful eyesore. Snowdonia National Park should be ashamed of themselves AND the local council for leaving it so long.
