I grew up in Harlech in the 70's when the town was a tourist destination from Easter through to October every year. Now the tourist season is about 6 weeks! I visited recently and the whole town looks so sad and empty. These buildings have been a danger for years, and need to go.

My brother attended this collage and I visited him there plus I also worked there as a musician in the 70s.

Nope no and nada of course demolish the saint davids hotel theres nothing that can be done but seriously the accomadaition block is structurally sound demolishing thus building will be like throwing a brand new smart TV away it has potential for blocks of flats a hotel even a council offices. This building may not look great for some people but for those who like historic buildings like this and for the people who have entered this buidling or have lived in it theres instanly becomes a touching part of that building it comes aparr of you seeing this building go would be like killing all of these people families infront of them and if this building does begin to get demolished im saying this now expect a protest

Do we have to have a fatal accident before something is done about it. It is easy for youngsters to get into both buildings. Shame on whoever should be doing something about this.

These buildings are indeed an eyesore and a blot on the landscape - their demolition is long overdue.

I can't believe these dangerous eyesores are still standing. A legal order enforcing the demolition has been breached - what's next? Truely a disaster for Harlech tourism.

These humongous eyesores are doing absolutely nothing for Harlech's tourism and are dangerous (I have been in Harlech numerous times when fires have been started in the hotel). The priority should just be to demolish these buildings ASAP

Will be happy to see the demolition of St.Davids. The whole area has a very creepy-vibe, which makes the whole of Harlech less appealing, particularly to visiting golfers who come from near and far to play the excellent golf links - it doesn't leave a great impression of what is a very beautiful town

The decay on this building is now at a stage where it is liable to collapse. IIt is a danger to the public and the railway.

Wern Fawr, Coleg Harlech are surely of historic and architectural merit. My father Griffith Morris designed the Library in 1934. I have a set of the working drawings.

The earliest possible removal of these eyesores will greatly benefit Harlech , they do untold damage to the local economy and general enjoyment of holidays due to their presence. MDM.
