We are a bilingual country. We do not infringe on another culture's right to speak, read or write in whichever language they wish. If you are moving from Montreal to an english province if is not reasonable to expect that your moving box say terre neuve instead of Newfoundland for example. This policy is one of intolerance in my opinion. If you want to live in a country that is bilingual get with it otherwise move.

A fine for a license plate not in French? That's rediculous. If you're going to get that technical, shouldn't cars that aren't French cars get fined too?
