This is very sad and it shows just how pathetic the Quebec language laws are becoming. If you want to be taken seriously then the claims must be legitimate. By splitting hairs and so obviously attacking an innocent family they come accoss as bullies, extreme right-wing conservatives that clearly have their head up their ass! Big brother is watching you...

That's completely absurd. The word Toronto is spelled the same in English and in French. Maybe it's spelled differently in Québécois?

It's ridiculous. In Ontario we have to be 100% bilingual yet across the bridges it only has to be French. Idiotic. Writing in English on moving boxes should not warrant a fine. Society is getting ridiculous with things like this. Leave it be.

bestbuy, future shop, sears, what else are they going to do to lose more economic prosperity what else will they do to make their own people's heritage strong but make it seem like their people need to be told in their own language what it is theyre looking at you make yourself look stupid and dont realize that your need to be accepting to others and understanding in ways you can never attain with this attitude how is quebec supposed to keep encouraging newcomers and keep the people that did chose to live here comfortable if you freak people out when something u feel like abusing power on happens in public, practice what u preach and do it behind closed doors not in public

If these people are afraid of one single English word, then they are trully pathetic and cowardly.

The law should only apply to public/services in Quebec, and not on personal items.
