The school confirmed the 40% discount. We pushed and they finally listened. Thank you for staying firm.

Dear Sir / Madam

In light of the existing situation, we, parents of Aldar Al Ain Academy, appreciate the Institutions’ continuous support and the backing of the decision of the school’s closure for the safety of its students. However, and though we do appreciate the discount gesture for the Third Term’s 'Distance Learning Program', we feel that 20% is not sufficient enough.

It is important to address that the online learning platform is not a complete alternate, but rather a supplement to the Term Education. Parents have to put in more than 5-7 hours a day, assisting children to complete the daily assigned lessons, provide resources, stationary, technology, not to mention the added mental strain and pressure of working from home simultaneously.

In addition to this, the children are not attending school for the entire term, neither using the premises, utilities, facilities nor all extra curricular activities which are now closed for the entire term thus reducing the school’s costs.

Over the course of last few weeks, we have seen businesses and companies suffer, families across the country taking the brunt of this situation- most employees are being laid off, forced to take unpaid leave or are facing pay cuts. Most Businesses are struggling and commercial activity has now come to a complete halt. These are severely difficult times for all of us.

We appreciate the initiative to come up with a reduction, but the limited discount proposed is yet not enough as paying 80% of the term 3 fees will still remain unjustified considering the limitations of the e-learning program though we do praise the efforts, dedication and sacrifices made by the teachers.

We collectively appeal to Aldar to increase to 40% the Fee Reduction for the Third Term 'E-Learning Program'.

For those parents that have already paid, we request their payments to be adjusted against the next upcoming term.

These are difficult times for all of us, and we hope Aldar will play its part.

Your Co-operation shall be highly appreciated,

Parents of Aldar Al Ain Academy

I appreciate all the work done by the teachers but we are doing 70% of the work at home.

I believe that the 20% discount is not fair. I took un played leave frommy work for 3 months because I stay with my son in year 2 the whole day to teach him english ,arabic and math.

I am paying for FS1 as I pay to years 3. In return my 3 children (fs1, year2,Year 3) studying only 30 mins !!! While we teach our children beside our duty at work !!. We appreciate the initiative and the investment in technology but It is unfair and we request to increase up to 50% of fees. Regards, Sultan Aldahmani

While I appreciate the offered 20% discount, I feel with the amount of tuition we pay, and the amount of profit ALDAR is making from all it's schools, a later discount is more than fair, considering we are not using any of the facilities not getting any of the extra perks which make up for the higher cost of tuition.

20% is not enough, we do huge effort to provide best online learning in the home , 40% is suitable and reasonable.

Hi there My husband has lost his job as a result of the Coronavirus, I am as busy doing my job from home that requires me to work up up to 16 hours a day as normal. Maia’s e learning program suffers as a result. I would appreciate a further discount. We are struggling as it is.
