The Ellisville Court House is much too important to be neglected, stripped of furnishings, and outright vandalized like it has been. Please restore to its original elegant state.

I'm an average Joe...not a lawyer, doctor, judge, or political person. But I think it would be a travesty to our county to do away with the Ellisville court house!

I believe that it's a shame that the courthouse has become a secondary priority to the city of Ellisville. This historic landmark needs to be restored.

I am a lifelong resident of Jones county,my great grandparents marriage license is in the Ellisville courthouse. I went there as a child for my 1st school trip. Ellisville deserves to keep our courthouse. People will be out of jobs, and there is parking all around Ellisville courthouse. PLEASE KEEP OUR COURTHOUSE. SHANNA RUSSELL

I aam beside myself at the very thought of such an historical site being wrote off. Money can be thrown where polititions want it thrown, why not save the courthouse? This building is the very heart of Ellisville. Double shame that this is even being discussed!

I hope to see it restored. I love seeing old buildings still being used. It's a part of our history

Please keep our courthouse open! It would be so hectic and overwhelming to move both judicial districts into one. Money is found to do everything else that's needed, why not restoring the greatest part of our city?

First Judicial District Courthouse in Ellisville, MS, is a "national landmark on the register of archives" This absurd manner of its deplorable standard is an outrage!

Please save this beautiful Historical building. These old beautiful buildings can not be replaced. Just maintained. As all things need. It is part of Ellisville that everyone loves. Also very much needed for convenience. For The people in that area, it is a Must!!!! Thank you for your consideration.

If for no other reason, preservation of remaining records documenting the history of Ellisville and its citizens needs to be preserved, including their repository. The courthouse is not "just" another building; the structure resonates with the energy of everyone who has lived and worked there.

I am adding my heartfelt support for this petition. We must not allow the Ellisville courthouse to be destroyed or fall into greater disrepair!

It is so disrespectful of the BOS. That they have neglected our courthouse. It needs to be restored and maintained as a part of our history.

This courthouse deserves to be preserved. It is important to me as my ancestors were a part of this community from the beginning.

We are terrible at taking care of landmarks. Texas and other states are proud of their history. We don't seem to care.

The Ellisville court house is a historical building. So much of our history is being destroyed or neglected. Please save this one. It is the center of what Ellisville is built around.
