I fully agree with this! It is really discouraging and time consuming when I have to drive around for 40 minutes waiting/fighting for a parking spot every day that i arrive after 8!
This is so true. First we have to buy student parking pass and then when we couldn’t find parking and are getting late for class we have to park it somewhere. Hence, the result is we spend money on parking pass but we still get parking fine tickets cuz we have to park somewhere so we do not get late for class.
I support this! I do not pay thousands of dollars to attend this college plus 200 dollars for a parking spot just to park down the road in a church parking lot!
Hmmmm... 500 parking spots for students? Let's sell 4000 parking passes for the amount of students there are, and let them fight to the death to get a spot they paid for. Meanwhile less than 1/3 of staff parking gets used. Forget that.
The parking at the college has only gotten worse over the years. In the 4+ years I went to OC the staff parking increased, student parking pass rates increased and somehow the amount of student parking decreased.
More student parking is essential.
Everyday I circle the parking lot 4-5 times before I’m lucky enough to find a stall!! Or I show up 1.5 hours early to my morning class so I can get parking. Not cool.

I totally Agree to this.. I got a parking ticket the last day before the big break parking in a 30min student parking spot cause there was no where else to park. I told them the issue i had, and commented how half of the spots were taken up by snow, But... LOW AND BEHOLD they mentioned the church parking lot thats 15 mins away.. I'm paying 220$ a semester for this???.. yea no...
