when will the laws across this country and the world truly protect innocent defenseless animals family members ??? this is not acceptabble !!! it is not normal for a human to beat, torture neglect and murder innocent animals this is not ok! this goes against all morals , empathy compassion respect humans are not suppose to act in this way! they who do these acts should be punished with the same consequences as one would recieve if their victims were human period ! no excuses the laws must be federal the same in every state there is something seriously wrong with people who purposely intentionally cold hearted soul less abuse and murder animals

This is horrible as I set here with tears in my eyes for this family I believe in justice the idiot that done this should pay for this it brings me back when my boxer got shot by an police officer in church hill tn I tried to fight it but it didn't work lucky she lived but the officer should had payed for what he did I hope they arrest this man I know this is very hard god bless yall

I hope the 'good ole boy network' holds no sway in this murder. I don't care how much $ the shooter gave to the judge's campaign. He needs jail, he needs out of the community. He's a menace.

The person had no cause and no reason to shoot a loving family pet. He should be arrested and punished because he did break the law and caused trauma and heartache to the family of this dog. It should not even be a question that he be charged. The law goes for everyone in Sullivan County. What if someone had shot his dog? Would you hesitate? Please do the right thing and file charges and prosecute fully.

This is ridiculous. The fact that even in this day and age we have to sign a petition to get justice for an animal. He was shot in the back=running away. I feel so sad for this (obviously grieving) family.
