Shame on RTE for such obvious anti Jewish hatred

Your unfounded hatred will come back to get you as if did with the Nazis in 1945. You, like the average German of the time just went along with it. Imagine being that person.

You didn’t boycott Russia - this is pure Jew hate. Ulster stands with Israel!

I strongly object to the boycott by RTE of the Eurovision Song Contest. This is direct censorship and party politics dressed up as concern. To add insult to injury, replacing the contest with an episode of Father Ted, without the co-writer's permission, is disgraceful. Kevin Bakhurst should reconsider this decision.

As a devout Catholic, lover of Graham Linehan's humor, and firm supporter of Israel, this is totally unacceptable. Do better Ireland.

If the creator of father ted opposes to his material being used for this reason it needs to be honored. The Irish elites are now so incredibly anti semitic its embarrassing

Israel is a country that tolerates all people of all colours , all sexes and has a number of Muslims in the Keneset unlike a lot of other Middle East countries

What kind of director general is told by the unions what he can or cannot broadcast? What a farce he starts that the unions feel they can dictate the program schedule of the national broadcaster funded by the public. What next for a spineless director? Already RTE has decided who can go on a political pre-election program excluding whomever they so desire. And a subservient lazy government does nothing

i lived in Ireland for almost 11 years and i am sad to say this nonsense from RTE does not surprise me at all as a Jew. I encountered anti semitism on almost weekly basis. What a dreadful shame to use father Ted to further hate.

The only way RTE can represent all of the Irish people, the people who pay to keep the service going, is for them to represent none of them. They've failed woefully in this case. They have clearly picked a side, and in doing so they have gone against the many Irish people who don't buy into the idea that the Israelis are monsters and the Palestinians are blameless victims.
