Why is it so difficult to do no harm? I stand with other WOC who will not be silenced.

We will not stand by and let this continue to happen, Graeme and Jasmine.

As a woman of color who suffers from mental illness, I stand with you to hold those that are accountable, accountable.

I believe that the work of supporting and encouraging mothers is so important. I truly hope it is possible to create a safe and nurturing space for ALL mothers and ALL staff and volunteers. I stand with Graeme and Jasmine. Make it right.

I stand with you both. I am listening, watching, loving. The response from PPI thus far is not enough. Simply not enough. Holding you close.

You do not stand for women if you do not stand for ALL women. Please make this right - you have so much good to offer, but you still have so much to learn. This is your opportunity to shift and do things right. Please do not let your pride get in your way. Listen to the wise women who are calling you out!

I am tired of white feminism actively perpetuating harm against women of color. Take responsibility.

This is what accountability looks like. Here's hoping for an inclusive, intersectional, culturally competent future for postpartum progress.

As a former WMC sponsor, I am beyond frustrated that this silencing and harm of women of color has continued, seemingly unchecked, for years. The plans to "do better" and "learn from our mistakes" have failed. Postpartum Progress needs a massive overhaul if they are to continue as an organization, as women of color have been actively marginalized. As a black woman, I am not moved to spend my hard-earned business profits with an organization that does not value women who look like me. Time is ticking.

Even as a white woman, I recognize it's time for this to happen. ALL women deserve the level of support and care I received when I was suffering. I am following the women who are going to fight for WOC. I am going make all my donations to them now instead.
