XXX DEMAND JUSTICE FOR U.S. MARINE CAMP LEJEUNE WATER CONTAMINATION CANCER VICTIMS

It is disgusting to think that the government isn't owning up to this faster. Are they waiting for people to die first?

For the first 6months of my mothers pregnancy (1980) with me we lived on camp lejeune and she was drinking this contaminated water!!

Our government should he held accountable for the Marine families affected. No excuses!

Please help these people, they deserve better .

My niece was born at LeJeune in 1981 has multiple weird things going on. No one cares. Criminal !!!

I have cancer. I have been lied to by the VA. A month ago I was told by my PCP that my request to use the Choice program had been denied. Today I found that a request had never been submitted. I contacted Choice. They informed me that they are not responsible for determining whether or not a person is eligible to use the program. I was told by them that the my local VA clinic does that. I then called the local clinic and they told me that they do not make the determination, that the VA in Cleveland does. I called them, they told me that they don't do that and that someone else does. I called them...etc. till I have made a complete circle, back to where I started. No one will take responsibility, therefore no one is accountable. So much for the Accountability Act. In the meantime, I guess it is my problem, according to my primary ' nurse. I have done the calling and contacting. It doesn't work because they are not accountable. Here is my story: I went to the local VA clinics because of pain in my throat and ear. My primary found nothing, upon examination, and said he's wanted to send me all the way to Cleveland (Wade Park) to see a specialist. I told him that I wanted to use the choice program and see a local specialist. He laughed at me. When I asked him why he was laughing, he said that nobody ever gets approved to use that program. I told him to make the request anyway. I then paid out of pocket for a second opinion at a local ENT specialist. After he performed the same examination, he told me that I had a what looked like a tumor the size of an almond in my throat where my tonsils had been, and there was a good possibility that it could be cancerous. So he scheduled me for a CT scan. When I got home, I immediately called my primary at the clinic and told his nurse what had occurred. I then asked about my request. Of 25,00 applications, 16,000 were classified as "miscellaneous" by the VA. That's outrageous! The net needs to be cast wider for illnesses that victims suffer from.

My late husband was stationed at LeJeune in the late '70's to middle '80's. We lived in Tarawa Terrace, with our 2 sons. All 3 of us have medical issues. Maybe one day will know something.

I was notified a number of years ago that I was on the list of those affected by the contaminated drinking water at Lejeune due to the periods of time I served there. I have Type I Diabetes, Lymphoma, Clinical Depression. I submitted my claim and was denied because it was "not service connected." I followed up by requesting a copy of my Service Record Book. Several weeks later I'm informed in writing that they are unable to locate my SRB because it was checked out by someone and they don't know who. Where and when will justice come for those of us who have been harmed by this cover-up?

My father was a USN corpsman for many of those years at Camp Lejeune; we lived in Tarawa Terrace for a while too. My mother, sister and I all worked at Camp Lejeune for several years, drinking the poison water. My father died of a throat cancer; my mother died of complications of Non-Hodgkins lymphoma; my sister has had several health issues; I am a breast cancer survivor. The medical costs alone for our treatments were very costly, and, at the very minimum, should be reimbursed to us, including future care costs. Life cannot be assessed a cost, and both of our parents were taken from us too soon. Do the right thing for all of us affected.

This is totally unjust and all were asking for is responsibility be taken.

Something needs to be done. There I thought the marines took care of me n my family. My oldest daughter has soo many things wrong with her it's sad!! We lived on base for 6 years
