Both my son who was born at Camp Lejeune and myself have many medical issues. When will the government admit to the contamination and take care of our medical needs?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago that I believe I got as a result of living in a house in TT. I lost both of my breast, and my health has not been the same since my four chemo sessions and being on hormone therapy. My whole life took a serious plunge into despair as a result of getting this disease because I lived on base in TT for three years during the early 70's. We who are victims of this miscarriage of justice deserve some relief.

-Also, they have found polyps on my kidneys. -The doctor, a Nephrologist, is supposed to contact me soon. (...any Disabled Veteran knows what "soon" means at the VA!)

Camp Lejeune Vet 8th Engineers, Support Company '81-'84 (Heavy Junk)/ In my years stationed at Lejeune, Marines drank water all day at work when our Company was mainside. We were engineers support, Supplying water to our Battalion via water bulls were part of our mission. We knew the water was bad from the oder, but we 'thought' we knew that the Marine Corps would not let us drink water that was contaminated if they were aware of it. The Marine in charge responsible for that information broke the Marine Corps oath "always faithful" along with never lie! I am convinced the toxic water I ingested for those years has had adverse affects to my health. Common sense tells me if you drink man made poison chemicals your going to get sick. I don't think you have to spend millions to scientist to come with some kind of rhetoric . Just help the Marines that get sick that was staioned there and drank it PERIOD. John K Berry (Camp Lejeune Vet '81-'84) Diagnost Feb 2016 : Metastatic liver/bone carcinoma
