The court has finally ruled to ban Tucker from owning animals and Justice is safe. The weight of this fight has been heavy but knowing the outcome is worth the exhaustion. We will keep an eye on this situation to ensure these terms remain strictly enforced.

On April 1, 2019 Shaquille Tucker was charged with Aggravated Animal Cruelty for the horrific, sustained and sadistic beating of a horse known as “Justice”. There can be NO doubt that this act took place as it was videotaped by an acquaintance of Tucker and subsequently, proudly I might add, posted to social media. This was an act of vile cruelty.
Therefore, the people of Conecuh County, Alabama, residents of the surrounding area and other concerned citizens do hereby petition for the following:
- That the true identity of the horse in the video be ascertained and that the Court shall order that defendant Tucker will have NO further contact with the horse.
- That the various officials with jurisdiction in this case take all necessary measures to insure the safety and health of the horse.
- That as part of the disposition of the criminal case against Shaquille Tucker that he be restrained from contact with ANY animal during his incarceration and/or probationary period. LET JUSTICE BE DONE

The silence from the authorities is heavy but I am continuing to reach out for updates on the welfare of Justice. It is exhausting to look at the footage of what happened yet I refuse to let this case fade into the background. Your attention remains the only pressure we have against the people who are currently ignoring this cruelty.

Shaquille Tucker must be held accountable for abusing this horse(that was restrained with no way to escape). I'm asking that he have no contact with any animal
He needs the MAXIMUM punishment. This abuse to helpless animals has to STOP. These are God's creatures and should be treated with respect and taken care of and not abused!
There had better be justice and a fitting punishment in this case. The public is aware that the defendant is friends with local police. This man should not be allowed to own any animals for a very lengthy amount of time, if ever. Him, and his friends and acquaintances, seem to think this is a normal way to treat an animal and frankly, its scary.
This is not ok. I am a horse owner and No animal deserves to be treated in this manner. I'm sure it has happened in the past and will happen again unless something is done. This is not Horsemanship! You do not train horses this way.
He needs to be locked up and an eval needs to be done. People that abuse animals will move on to hurting humans, it is proven by mr Ressler of the FBI who deals with profiles. It is time the law is followed and this man is punished for what he did. It has also been proven this is not the first time he has abused animals by other videos.
This act of extreme cruelty should not go unpunished
Punish to the full extent of the law and make it mandatory across the country. I’m an sick to death of reading about animal abuse constantly day by day. Make it a lesson not to harm Any animal for other potential abusers in future.

This horrendous abuse is not welcome in our community! We cannot continue to allow abusers to get away with these heinous acts against defenseless animals. It’s time for the punishment to fit the crime!
