This warrants in the very least an investigation. It's sickening to think that a school like this would brush it under the rug again and again.

It's time for something to be done. After hearing the stories of abuse from the parent of a walk-on at Auburn and now at Penn State, it is clear the behavior by Jeff and Rachelle Thompson is causing issues with some athletes at the very least - and, at worst, ruining a program that was once a proud, top-10 power. This should have been addressed three years ago, then two years ago, and then last year. The fact that Penn State hired the Thompsons when there were questions about them even continuing to serve as coaches at Auburn is a breach in trust for all parents and student-athletes affected by this situation.

I'm the mother of a gymnast in HS who has been in the gym most of her life. I believe the parents and the allegations. Shame on Penn a State for taking on these two after Auburn was smart enough to get rid of. Do the right thing now Penn State!

This has gone on for far too long and the stories just keep coming. It needs to be investigated and a stop needs to be out to it now. Shameful. Disgusting that it has gone on so long and no one has done anything about it. I don't understand how the Thompsons were hired to begin with after their history at Auburn.

As a former D1 gymnast, I stand with my fellow gymnasts and my friend Sammy who was the assistant coach terminated. I urge the university and the NCAA to take this seriously. Protect our athletes.

As a former Auburn gymnast I feel I have an obligation to sign this petition. I experienced first hand how controlling and manipulating the Thompsons were. At one point my scholarship was threatened if I didn't give them personal information concerning teammates. I was a witness and victim to many of the things that the Penn State gymnasts have mentioned. It is very unfortunate that the Thompsons didn't use the opportunity at a new university to change their ways.
