I really admire and respect Ina but her comments were unacceptable and reinforce biased, negative and untrue prejudice and ideology of racism in childbirth.

I already stopped supporting Gaskin when I found out that she was a person who could and did circumcise her own children and those of others. It appears that she is an equal opportunity abuser.

I support home birth and have been aware of her wonderful work. This perspective she carries is dangerous and as harmful as the hospital births she fights. She is not a friend to women.
