Dear Mr. Varkey
Requesting in reduction of fees and kids are doing online studies and not on campus. We were paying full on campus regular school fees with all facilities. In this moment of crisis when most of the schools in UAE have come together to bear some burden on their shoulder for loss of fees and offer 15 to 20% discount from their pocket, we expect the same from GEMS. In this moment we expect some empathy and kindness. I am sure their cost is of not same but not less then yours.

Everybody is affected. Economy is gone very down. Everybody is suffering as total money generated is much less. My husband is on unpaid leave. He is the sole earner. When everybody is suffering losses as much as 100%, schools should compromise too. Looking for a fee reduction. We all are suffering in it. We all need to be cooperating with each other in these times.

Why am I paying full school fees for term 3, when clearly I have to leave my office work for 2 hours every morning since my FS 2, 5 year old child does not even know how to operate a laptop, let alone ms teams?
There are so many schools who have flat discounts of 20% or 30% then why cant gems do that?
So basically I pay full school fees to you'll and do your job at the same time?

School fees reduction is a must as we are not getting the same education that gems promised, I’m on unpaid leave to help my 2 kids with the online learning from 8 am till 2:30 pm with no teaching experience!!
