GEMS owners are playing on our emotions regarding keeping school staff paid, the question is why Gems owner can't share part of their profits through the years they collected from parents and why they are insisting parents to pay for it, i have two kids @ grade 2&4 they need our presence all the time during the E-learning activities, parents are acting as home teachers, third term school fees must be reduced,

The fee reduction should be extended to the academic year 2020-2021 as the recovery of the economy from corona virus will be a challenge for everybody. Mr Varkey should reduce his expensive life style gotten from our backs.

Requesting your support to reduce the school fees for term 3 for my kids Jasmine Guirguis in 6K and Joseph Guirguis in 4L as we are in the middle of crisis and we will be losing our jobs soon, appreciate your understanding

This fee reduction is simply our right, the school is closed there are definitly alot of sum of our money not needed !!! I am so disappointed in GEMS! Not to mention your distant learning is the worse among all schools.

Hi, I fully agree. Why they have to know the salaries? Are we getting the same level of education for our kids or not? This is the question. Also how they can know how much fix cost each families have?

GEMS is being oblivious to the ongoing situation and it’s unfair.

I think it’s only fair to the entire community that will beat difficult times over the course of the next 12-24 months, where DAA will also squeeze their partners and get various support schemes with the generosity of the local government, that they help the families attending their schools. Education may be a business but it’s a social responsibility as well.

The effects of this COVID-19 will be long and wide and not all are affected immediately but in long term it will surely make a difference. Additionally, none of the schools facilities and infrastructure are being used.

A proper fee reduction is what we parents deserve as charging the same fee is not acceptable given the school is not fully functional. The teaching duties have become a full time job for parents of younger children to teach them from morning till afternoon non-stop. Charging full fees is absolutely unacceptable as the operational cost in terms of utilities, maintenance etc. have also reduced given the shut down.
