Gems, We Demand Fee Reduction, Not Charity!

We are requesting to waive off re-enrollment fee and discount from term 3 fees

Parents of CIS deserve a few reduction. Charity should be optional to the parents who want to do it.

Discount is our right not a donation from the school we obliged to purchase laptops and printer to be able to participate at distance learning

Reduce school fees

Our fee was supposed to cover not just Tuition expenses but also the overall school facilities - specifically an environment conducive for better learning – which now stand unutilised. Which our residences aren’t fully equipped to replace. The additional expenses on devices, bandwidth and DEWA are the visible but how does one account for the stress of additional monitoring, juggling between our office & household responsibilities?

Stop being selfish

With the current situation and pay cut for most of the employees we are burdened with full pay of fees where the parents put 70% of the effort in keeping the e-learning afloat without which at this point education will not be effective. A fee discount is a necessity of the day.

Seriously at this of crises u are thinking whom to give or not to give. It should be done from ur side.

Please reduce or waive the school fees since it is a tough time for the parents. Our children are not going to a physical school so they are not using the school facilities that they would use otherwise. Please be considerate in these tough times. I as a parent havent even received my March salary yet and I dont know if I will receive it. So times are uncertain and I beg the authorities to take some action. Thank you.

I haven’t had any income in the past few months. I paid by credit card .I don't know how to pay it next month

Reduced fees - (value for money) We will very much appreciate some empathy from GEMS at this time of frustration when parents are juggling working from home & teaching. Please understand that the request for fee reduction isn't an issue about people who lost jobs or had salary cuts but an issue on Ethics. The amount being charged to parents is unreasonable given the value of learning the children are getting. Giving each class an hour a day and leaving them to make sense of the slides does not justify why we need to pay full fees as if nothing has changed in the quality of education being delivered.

E learning definitely not upto the mark. Reduce fees across all school. All parents are definitely affected by covid19 in some way or other.
