Please give Wang Chuqin a clean investigation result.

To uphold the integrity and accountability of the ITTF committee and all officials of the games organiser, we demand (1) a thorough investigation of the incident from the point of submission of the racket to the point the racket was returned by the Umpire of the match. All persons in charged to be hold accountable for (2) the appropriateness of the action of the Umpire when Wang realised the rubber of his racket was damaged and brought this to the attention of the Umpire. According to ITTF regulations one of the roles of the Umpire is to ensure Fair Play. Please clarify if and how did the Umpire, who first denied there was any damage to the racket then refuse to admit any responsibility for the damage, demonstrate this assurance of fair play. One would have thought that he would have Wang to continue the match with a racket that has its rubber falling halfway off. This incident is most shameful and ironic as 19 May was the inauguration of the World Fair Play day official designated by the United Nations General Assembly in July 2024.
