May 19, 2025, before the mixed doubles 1 / 16 final of the Doha World Table Tennis Championships, The racket used by Wang Chuqin, a player of the Chinese national table tennis team, was damaged and the rubber of the racket had abnormal wear marks. This event seriously affects the competition fairness, Has caused certain psychological pressure to the athlete. According to ITTF Equipment Rule 3.2.1, Any attempt to alter the performance of a racket is a serious offence; Article 4 of the Olympic Charter clearly states that " equal conditions of competition shall be guaranteed for participants in sports competitions". The incident has been suspected of violating the basic norms of international sporting events, We request: 1. to initiate an international investigation procedure 2. in accordance with Article 12 of the World Convention against Violence in Sport, The subject of liability for intentional destruction of sports equipment shall be investigated for civil compensation (including direct economic loss, compensation for spiritual damage) and industry ban. Please give a sound guarantee system to Chinese table tennis players.
