Transparency is critical here

Owner in the Hammocks. One of the most corrupt HOA's that ever existed. Thankfully , after years of battles we have a receiver and today free and fair elections. If we had tougher laws in Chapter 720 we could have got these criminals out years ago and saved us homeowners millions upon millions of our hard earned dollars!!

I am against overreach by any community associations.

I agree with that the State of Florida should work towards addressing these deficiencies and adding laws to do so.

This would definitely have a positive impact on my neighborhood of 1000 homes. Our HOA refuses to share financial information.

It is evident by the gross mismanagement of the Hammocks HOA that the rules and laws set by the current 720 law need to change. Take this opportunity to make it right and not allow a rotten few to take advantage of the law abiding citizens in the hammocks and other locations that have suffered because of the 720 law. Make it right for the future of the residents that live in HOA governed communities!!

Please requires HOA's like condo associations to provide immediate access to all HOA documents, contracts, bids, etc via the community website. This would create how much needed level of transparency and accountability. It's a sad state of affairs when the people who consistently pay dues are forced to jump through hoops to gain basic access to information.

HOA need to be held to higher standards in order to avoid the abuse of power!

I am a homeowner of the Hammocks and Adagio HOA. We need to have the following: 1. no more than two consecutive terms in 5 years for Board Directors. 2. An effective recall process of the remove a corrupt Board. 3. Changes in our Bylaws to be able to install solar panels and carport. 4. Mandatory audit for new Board and legal responsibility for the misuse of an Association funds. Please count me in as a volunteer.
