End the HOA’s and their robbing of our hard earned money! They don’t do anything anyway! END THE HOA

Our HOA only enforces select rules that benefit the board members and the management company.

We certainly would love to join this fight. Our current HOA is a joke, has been in place since 2002 without an election due to not enough member participation to have a quorum, so they just reelect themselves each year. I also know some dirty secrets, but im not independently wealthy to hire an attorney to fight. Hope we can spread the news of this new fight.

Our neighborhood HOA and Vesta have stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars. From what I understand there is an open investigation with St John’s County. The neighborhood is Heritage landing.

Living in an HOA is like living in WW2 Germany. Constantly worrying about the enforcement patrol and receiving violations.

Their unchecked power must be checked.

Condominium and HOA fees are way too high. It’s like paying apartment or mobile home lot rent for a place you own!

I am a 68 year-old 20 year military veteran and my HOA is trying to foreclose on my house as early as September 2, 2025, and the only way for me to slow it down is to file chapter 13. In my case, the HOA and law firm Webner and 1 settler located on Maguire Ave., Orlando, FL has violated the deck collection law to which counter showing, and to which they stand fast because they know if they admit wrongdoing they most like will face legal liability beyond compare. I need help to fight these people and I want to support this cause please allow me to get involved because this is something that needs to be addressed along with the debt collection law. It is too vague.

Reform is needed when it comes to HOAs. Maybe are mismanaged and fail to even accomplish what their purpose is. Many times it’s a revolving door of management companies that are more like mismanagement companies. They do a poor job and end up going after low hanging fruit to target residents in order to justify their existence. Few are even aware of the state laws on the books and infringe upon people’s rights. For example targeting law enforcement and first responder vehicles with threats of fines and towing. Sometimes I feel living in a communist country would allow me more freedom than living in an HOA. Unfortunately, where I live (Manatee County). If you want to live in a decent neighborhood, an HOA is your only choice.

Hoa and Coa are all great until corruption takes hold. And it’s far to easy to do so. Our association of fraught with it. And undoing it is almost near impossible

As a Florida homeowner in Pasco County I fully support this. HOA’s have become the modern day Mafia with unfettered power. Florida homeowners have no where to turn when an HOA goes rogue.

The lack of accountability and the fact that board meetings by the dues paying members and their vote seems to not be enough to make changes.

HOAs are scams that suck the life out of homeowners and make them double pay for homes they already paid for. Dictate what homeowners can and cannot do tot heir own homes and property. Get rid of them all together!
