Strongly endorse amending Florida statutes to better regulate HOAs to prevent abuse by boards and their pertinent lawyers.

Abusive is correct. No response from miserable association or property management company. State Legislatures need to step in and correct this problem

I urge and suggest the legislature to make a mandatory law to people who are on every HOA BOARD MEMBER--my first suggestion a mandatory mini crash course to understand hoiw a HOA fully works and sent to Tallhassee Division where they recieve it and homeowners are able to see they did the test and if they do not do the test they should get fined --my 2nd suggestion those on the board for years whom refuse to leave the board I find are hinding yearly votes for others whom may want to serve on board. I find if the same people want to run on the board they have to put themselves onto a candidate list like everyone else. If they do not they should be fined a high price and pay without the HOA MONEY their own money and make sure its coming from their pocket. Everyone on the board shoiuld be elected by the home owners not themselves I had a HOA MEETING with MUNNE ROYAL FEB 13, they way they do votes I find it illegal. They been raising their hands and thats how the pick whoi gets on the board. There is no home owner signing vouchers nor who they want its all raising your hand. The President and Vice Present clearly stated to the home owners they had NO INTENTION of STEPPING DOWN FROM THE BOARD. They said in a letter there was going to be board voiting instead there was only one vote because someone wanted to resign from it. I am under the impression the FLA STATUTE HOA the home owners vote who goes on the board but instead the board members are picking who they want --A Law has to be in place and we take back our community --The way our HOA is run is very SHABBY. There are no letters stating who is going to be candidate not that there are many interested but if the same candidate want to run they need to put themselves written in the letters as candidates for running again even if they are the only candidate. I was told I have to read the bilaws which I did and nothing I read says anything ref voting among each other ---there really needs to be tougher laws and high F
